Monthly Report; March 2019
Our imaginations are going crazy and I wonder, are we trying to do too much? This year we’ll explore building a home base in New Mexico, then travel to the Pacific Northwest for the summer, return to the southwest in the fall, spend a month in the Mexican Caribbean before settling into Tucson Arizona for the winter. Whew, it sounds exhausting before we even start and yet, we can’t wait to do it all.
March was all about Albuquerque New Mexico. We moved into a RV Park near Albuquerque to stay until mid-May. We spent the first week exploring the outback around Albuquerque and Santa Fe with our friend Matt from Seattle. Then we made a quick trip to Chihuahua Mexico for some dental work. The rest of the month was getting down to business; planning to build a home base on the east side of the Sandia Mountains; meeting with architects, contractors and building suppliers. We’ll build later but we’re putting some time into planning now. It’s all an adventure.
